RF precision meters can control up to 4 external RF measuring ports, each measuring forward and reflected power by default. The high dynamic range in combination with external couplers covers range from 1W to 60kW. The power conversion algorithms handle multi carrier, peak, average and RMS signals. Also the measured and calculated results along with alarms can be shown in the local LCD.

The EPM 3024 instrument has SNMP support to allow integration into any network management system. The instrument can be configured for VSWR and power limits to give alarms. The alarms can also be configured as SNMP traps sending relevant information to the network control centre.
